How much will an attorney charge to evaluate my boat accident lawsuit?

In Florida the vast majority of personal injury attorneys are maritime attorneys will not charge you anything to evaluate your case and determine whether or not you have a viable source of recovery. For most cases most attorneys operate on what’s called a contingency fee basis. Basically what that means is that there would be no charge for an in person meeting to go over your case and if they take your case, then there wouldn’t be any charge moving forward. They would basically front all the costs for your case so you wouldn’t have to pay them out of pocket. At our firm we don’t send anyone a bill unless we reach a recovery for them. If were able to reach a recovery then we’ll get a percentage of the total recovery as our fees and we’ll get our cost paid back, but that only if we reach a recovery.
