Are there any special laws that apply to bicyclists in Florida?
In Florida, there are many special laws that apply to bicyclists. For example, bicyclists can use the road, the right side of the road to travel. They can use bike lanes to travel, and they can also use sidewalks to travel depending on which roadway they’re on. When a bicyclist is using the roadway, for example, which is only permitted when a bike lane is not available, they must stay all the way to the right side as safe as possible.
