In the state of Florida liability insurance is also referred to as bodily injury coverage, or BI coverage. What it is, is basically if you’ve been involved in a car accident that was your fault, it will pay the other driver or other passengers in the vehicles for past medical bills, future medical bills, past lost wages, future lost wages, past pain and suffering or future pain and suffering or a combination of all six of those items up to the policy limits.
